The professional development program offers teachers the unique opportunity to evaluate and offer valuable feedback on Kaldor Public Art Projects' new archive digitisation project. Teachers are invited to be a part of the conversation as we explore thought provoking ways of making primary source material accessible, engaging and relevant for students and teachers.

From late November 2019 until February 2020, teachers will engage deeply with the Kaldor Public Art Projects physical archives. They will hear from expert speakers on digital media and resource design, and extend upon new knowledge acquired throughout the project in the collaborative development of case studies to be published and made available to all NSW schools in 2020.

The resources will feature past Kaldor Public Art Projects and the process of producing large scale, site specific public artworks. Primary resource material from the Kaldor Public Art Projects archives will be re-contextualised by teachers with the aim of supporting students critical thinking and analytical skills, when engaging in historical and archival content.
